Unfortunately, the Flour Mill Bakery has closed.
The Flour Mill Bakery is a traditional country bakery in Queen Street, Cleveland. Located near Thai Siam, it has become popular with locals and with the quality and prices I can understand why.
I have visited them several times, mostly to purchase some of their Gluten Free options but also some of their other products for friends and family. I love their gluten free meat pies, sausage rolls and apple turnovers. Some of the things I had given up due to being gluten intolerant.
I am looking forward to visiting them on Sunday and Wednesday when they have more Gluten Free items than other days, including their famous gluten free doughnuts.
“Jonathon has been a baker pastry chef for the past 30 years and is passionate about creating delicious bread, pies and cakes for all to enjoy! All products are baked on premises and no bread premixes are used. There is a large range of cakes and slices available, pies all made with premium meat and fresh bread along with traditional sourdough. You can create your own sandwich or salad roll at our salad bar. We also have low gluten and vegetarian/vegan options”

You can pre order gluten free products such as pizza bases, cakes, cobs, focaccia.

Birthday Cakes – vegan, dairy free, gluten free and “normal”.

Coffee: The Flour Mill Bakery uses a local coffee roaster that supplies their beans from nearby Capalaba – Chirasso.

Bread – They sell a lot of “normal bread” with people coming from the Gold Coast, Manly, Wyndham.
Everything is made and produced at the bakery.
