I was watching Loving Gluten-Free on SBS food and Helen Tzouganatos cooked this Gluten-Free recipe which made my mouth water!
I LOVE tiramisu so much. I remember the first time I tasted it, at Tonitos Patisserie in Port Kembla, NSW Australia. I asked the owner what he would recommend for a little pick me up and he said ‘Tiramisu! It’s Italian for pick me up!”. When it came to deciding upon a wedding cake in 1996 I chose Tonitos Patisserie to create an amazing authentic Italian Tiramisu cake with royal icing and a Singapore orchid on the top. It was a hit at the wedding and I had many happy wedding guests.
I eat predominantly a gluten-free diet however now and then I have succumbed to my craving for Tiramisu, especially traditional, high-quality ones like Mamma Mia’s. Yumm! Now I can make my own gluten-free tiramisu whenever I want with this easy to cook recipe which includes coconut cream which is one of my favourite ingredients for desserts.
